Founded in 1958, and part of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), the Hamilton Cardinals, under new ownership, are celebrating their 65th anniversary this upcoming season by updating their brand identity from being mistaken as an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Being the second oldest sports team in Hamilton, it was time for the teams identity to better reflect the character and history of the city this ball club calls home.
Project Scope
Primary Logo, Secondary Logo, Alternate Logos, Primary Wordmark, Jersey Wordmarks, Jersey Design, Custom Typeface, Stadium Logo, Anniversary Logo, Apparel Design, Junior Team Logo.
Process
After many rounds of back and forth, the final decision was a classic, "can we merge the two together?" Below is what came of this amazing decision.
